Rosie Blitchington Centeno is a professional speaker and life coach who focuses on helping moms communicate effectively with children and to know that they are giving their kids the best start in life by increasing their confidence and parenting skills.

Motivating adults to relate to children from their best selves with humor and enthusiasm, Rosie also gives them the tools they need to do it only a daily basis. She 100% guarantees her approach, when used consistently.

Rosie created
HEART MEMORY™ and the HEART HABIT™ to help parents to have constant calm, loving communication.

Rosie also developed the
WHOLE CHILD MODEL,™ an educational tool that simplifies and deepens awareness of the needs-based, developmental parenting paradigm. With increased awareness, parents and teachers are more effective at understanding children and knowing themselves as well as much more effective in responding to children's behavior.

A
certified Connection Parenting facilitator, Rosie was trained by Pam Leo, the creator of Connection Parenting, and Dr. Caron Goode. In addition, Rosie draws on her intensive training with the author of "Hold on to Your Kids" Dr. Gordon Neufeld, a developmental psychologist working out of attachment theory. Rosie is also a student of Nonviolent Communication.

Graduating Magna Cum Laude from New York University, Rosie studied evolutionary and behavioral biology and creative writing during her college career, which spanned 25 years. Rosie holds her coaching certification from the Coach Training Alliance. That took substantially less time.

Rosie's parent and teacher education workshops have been sponsored by
City University of New York in the Heights, Attachment Parenting International-NYC chapter, Holistic Moms Network-NYC chapter, Mountain Oak School in Arizona, West Park Family Center, and Child's Play at Rutger's Church. She's joining the teaching staff of CUNY in the Fall of 2008, spearheading a community parenting initiative.

Joining the inspirational field 10 years ago as a journalist and
managing editor for a magazine for people with disabilities, Rosie interviewed and worked with some of America's most inspiring and motivating individuals, including Ray Charles and "King Gimp" Dan Keplinger.

Rosie embarked on her intensive study of the parent-child relationships eight years ago in order to support her own healing around her adoption. She has grown more compassionate and dedicated by becoming a parent herself. The mother of one daughter, she lives with her family in Manhattan.
